I think that it is sad that so many americans at this point are ashamed of being americans. I don't see a reason for them to be to be honest. One thing that is true is that no matter who they voted for or what their hope for politics, no one can control the ones at the top ever. Its like George Carlin once said, its a big club and you aint in it.

The US is in a phase at this moment. Just like people who need a total 180 in their lives to get shit straight. And during processes like that a lot of pain comes. Its just a part of life.

My hope for The US is that things will turn out for the better. It will take some time, but americans are pretty amazing people. I have been a lot to the states and visited 21 states so far. And no matter what state I have been in, red or blue, people are kind and extremely hard working and extraordinary when it comes to communicating. So I do believe that The US will come back very strong. It is easy for people who has never been to The US and make fun of it and complain about things over there, but I do understand that people are angry and want things to change. They pay a lot of taxes and they see infrastructure worsen. Big cities filled with crime and things becoming so expensive that it is almost impossible to live in many places. We would have reacted the same way too if we were making 100k+ a year and had a job in a location where it cost millions to buy or an entire monthly pay just to pay rent.
I cross all fingers for a better USA over the years and I hope that people will unite once more because at the end of the day, The US is a damn amazing place.
