I worked for a luxury events company in coastal New England. Drive one or two different places every day with a crew to set up giant luxury tents, and "strata" that's basically building a giant temprorary deck for weddings, balls, etc.
It's amazing just how many beautiful places there are around. You just have no idea because they're all private country clubs or super expensive homes that are hidden from public view.
If you live in an are you think is kind of meh looking, there's probably gorgeous places around, you just see them because they're kept private.
