What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

A smart person who is also kind and hardworking would immediately realize that this is the most long term beneficial orientation. It provides stability and loyalty from the working class, and it does provide opportunity for slower but still stable and steady growth for a company.

However- not every industry can be profitable enough for this structure to function unabated by decline and failure. In the current socio-economic paradigm, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and in some cases some other basic industries that support the most basic necessities of people cannot be too profitable, because if they are, there is an imbalance in the economy.

Illegal immigrants in the U.S are highly incentivized, for a variety of reasons to allow their labor to be exploited in these industries. Legal citizens who are capable and would desire a simple job that would produce some financial growth are not interested in the slightest in having their labor exploited in this way, due to their economic and legal position in society.

This causes prices to be low for certain basic needs, namely food, water and logistics. The elites however have decided to pillage construction and manufacturing to freeze the economic position of the lower classes.

These industries depend on exploited labor, subsidies and foreigners to exist, if the laws were enforced correctly and fairly, wages would rise but costs would rise with them, eliminating the benefit of fixing the problem. Pic related is impossible in those highly demanded and consumed industries without an economic spiraling of problems.

I don't remember leftists being very open to educating each other or themselves on the horrors produced by those mistakes, as that makes their position look bad- which is bad for optics and bad for the success of those agendas. They will be repeated because they are not properly depicted, if at all.

Checks and balances are not real, the actual forms of power are means of force and multifaceted leverage, whether that leverage is economic, social, hierarchical, based on loyalty, based on shared belief- etc. People who have power and use it, power takes many forms, not just capital. It is possible to have someone who has incredible power and authority and they own nothing and they do nothing- they simply have the loyalty of people who do.

So the people with the means of force and the people who have the wealth are the people who have the power, but it is even more complicated than that. You can't create checks and balances because the human condition is naturally inclined to fall into hierarchies, idolization, congregations, in groups and out groups.

You don't actually believe that the communists made mistakes because they just weren't educated enough, do you? Do you actually believe that? They made the most basic follies a human can make in decision making, like how every person makes when they must make difficult decisions while existing within a certain political paradigm.

Serious questions:
1) The appartus of state as dictated by Marx's concept of social capital, would supposedly function like capitalism but with society being the market. What's society? Does this mean everyone needs to be urbanized into the same society? Can you have farmers and rural people in such a system?
2) The market is an apparatus to introduce new tech and shift economic moment. What does socialism offer other than a unilateral plan? What methods do they have to adjust the plan? Is the plan always utopian? Markets can change on a moment's notice. It's highly unstable, but it's literally impossible to keep up with the kind of chaotic innovation they offer, like how Bell Labs accidentally found out about radio astronomy while conducting experiments on satellite telecoms. If there was a strict economic plan with too many bureaucrats involved then they never would have split off to study laser technology and digital speech transmission systems.
3) If bureaucracy ever gets too big how will government decouple from it? Can bureaucracy compete with privatization? Private companies can easily be created by the CIA and disposed of once they've outlived their usefulness, but government departments are an absolute chore to dispense of. How can government steer itself or prevent itself from bloat by the constant addition of new departments to handle tasks that could have easily been handled by a simple contract?
