Alright, here's my analysis.

Israel's fundamental objective here is most likely regime change, this is because if Iran develops nukes then Iran would be impossible to ever regime-change or invade, meaning Iran will continue to torment and attack Israel forever, with no fears of invasion. Such a reality is unacceptable to israel. Therefore we can deduce the most probable Israeli motive is regime change.

Now then... what is going to happen? Here are my probable predictions. I believe there will never be a 'boots on the ground' invasion of Iran by USA and Israel. Netanyahu knows that such a war is deeply unpopular in America (and Trump doesn't want it) therefore I believe any war that will involve the United States against Iran will not involve significant boots on the ground, but instead be a war of air power and missiles.

Israel and the United States would pummel Iranian leadership and infrastructure into the ground under this scenario... but to what end? Well, I believe that end is hoping for a revolution in Iran against the unpopular Islamic regime... I believe Israel hopes that rogue elements in the iranian military will see that the Islamic government is paralysed by frequent assassinations and will try to see the day... atleast, this is what I believe Israel is hoping for, and is their best scenario.

Airpower is barely enough to make small militias fold why would it end a regime? Unless Iran is led by Gorbachev tier schmuck (which they partly are), they'll have to bite all the pressure and make nukes themselves. Afterall even the Germans who were nearly destroyed in 1945' would have been able to achieve the bomb had they realized the importance of enrichment.

It wouldn't be about ending the country itself, it would be more about destroying iranian economy, targetting key officials of the regime (and leaving a power vacumm) to increase the chances of the military deciding to overthrow the Islamic leadership. Atleast, that's my idea.

The current regime doesn’t believe in nukes which is why they still don’t have one. Nuclear weapons are haram in Shia Islam because creating them goes against God or something. That’s why North Korea has nukes but 20 years after Netanyahu held up that cartoon Looney Tunes bomb poster in the UN, Iran is still perpetually two weeks away from having the bomb.

The only way you will ever see a nuclear Iran is ironically if they do something like you described and force them to violate their own religion out of self-preservation.
