This is the same type of garbage as Joseph Smith giving out 'prophecies' about the U.S. Civil War 20 years before it happened. He's stating the obvious. Everyone knew a civil war was coming in the U.S. way before it happened. It didn't take a genius to know that the bulk of the battles would happen in the Upper South and that Missouri would get fucked. Same here. Everyone has known that Israel would do this for decades. It does not take a crystal ball to know this. Everyone knows that Turkey will destabilize. Turkey does this every 30 to 40 years. Anyone can predict Middle East conflict and call it prophecy because this shit has been going on for millennia. If these guys had the power of prophecy, they wouldn't have been debating how many angels could dance on the head of a needle while Constantinople fell.

The problem with orthodoxy is that it's not written down. Christian dogma is. Orthodox just pull up a saint who said whatever message they want to convey that day.
