why can't you have peace if iran has a nuclear weapon?

pakistan hates israel and they have a nuclear weapon. india hates pakistan, and they have a nuclear weapon. the united states threatens everyone from canada to greenland, and they have a nuclear weapon. russia has nuclear weapons. china. north korea has nuclear weapons. no one actually uses them.

so, what would change if iran had nuclear weapons? they'd threaten israel, israel would threaten back. nothing would happen.

Israel wouldn't be able to keep expanding its territory in the same way with that threat of a limited nuclear exchange hanging over their heads. Current Israeli leaders also couldn't still justify themselves if they're blamed by their citizens for allowing Iran to threaten them in an existential sense.

Even in a "limited" exchange, they'd render most of israel and Palestine uninhabitable pretty quickly. Iran, by contrast, is pretty damn big.
