From my experience, they prefer hair that's on the longer side and somewhat taken care of. Short and unkempt hair is an immediate turnoff, so is being bald.
Of course you can compensate for shit hair with other qualities but it's always a good idea to at least put minimum effort into it and stop getting buzzcuts.

One thing only. Women do not like balding men. You can't choose if you're balding but you can choose to be bald. I used to have a very beautiful head of hair and was complimented all the time but sure enough I developed a small bald spot right in the center of my head. Real burd nest shit even though it was only an inch wide. I might as well have been a fucking gremlin to women, I had zero prospects. Once I shaved my head, it was as if God parted the red seas and women started talking to me, showing interest before I could even act and generally people treated me x2 better than when I was balding. With a shaved head women seemingly find it attractive. Even some of the 18-22 year olds go after me and I used to consider myself ugly. But some part of their monkey brain sees a shaved head as attractive. So if you are not balding good, keep your hair. But if you do start balding, shave that hit off, pronto. Even though I have a 95% hair coverage over my head, the 5% made me as unattractive as an aids patient. Never underestimate a shaved head

I like mid length hair that's styled or fluffy, like Timothee Chalamet in Dune, but that's me. Generally anything that just shows you put effort into your appearance is good. It shows that you are intentional about things and have your shit together.

I have no hair on my head, doesn't cause me issues. Still get women, would I like hair? Yeah of course, I used to have thick blond hair but alas nothing lasts forever. On the plus side I can grow an extremely thick blond/ginger beard very fast. So that's a plus. Granted, I only have a beard in winter to the end of spring.

But I'm not a vain cunt who would waste time and health worrying about literally unimportant shit and sacrificing what little money I have because of bullshit high taxes and ridiculous CoL in a failed state that gives me nothing in return where nothing fucking works.
