Depends on why you're going. Clubs are a waste of time and money. The majority of people who spend their weekend nights at clubs are degenerates or people afraid of commitment. Take the money you'd be spending on booze and put it towards something productive. Worthwhile women are attracted to a guy who has his shit together, not bar flies.

If you're just wanted to hang out at a pub and watch a game/shoot some pool, then go for it.

It depends on the bar. I was a bouncer and bartender for years so I saw it all. People coming in by themselves was pretty normal, but it was only worthwhile for them if it was a somewhat chiller and less buy bar. That way they can chat with bartender and other people at the bar. If you’re just kind of hanging out getting a drink and some food, it’s cool. Just don’t expect a lot to come from it. You’ll just have shallow conversations with the people.

As someone who goes out frequently to bars and clubs, it's not very difficult no. In fact it's fucking effortless to take home someone different frequently.

However
1). They are not high quality partners.
2). You have to train yourself to behave like a sociopath to get consistent results.

After you get past the barriers of not having enough confidence/not knowing what to say. You start to understand you know what you could say but aren't a scumbag enough to do it. Just realize that it's a skillset, you go and practice enough and you too can become good at the bar/club scene. Everyone you see who you consider good has failed hundreds of times more than you've even tried.
