Lmfao! Good one. But if you have hundreds of millions of infected devices you only need to use like 5% of their maximum hashrate and you make hundreds of thousands of dollars a day. It would be foolish to use their full maximum hashrate it would slow their phones down like you said and drain their batteries. The key is to get a fuck ton of bots and only use a small percentage of their processing power to mine Monero or some other privacy coin.

Not really. Not many people use torrents now. I used to spread with torrents when I was a kid. But email spreading is even older than that and it is still a tried and tested true and blue spreading method that still works. All you do is gather an email list from all your infected devices and send out emails to everyone in their list. You can probably get millions of bots in just a few days doing this and dumb tech illiterate people don't know any better and will click the email and open the virus attached. Email spreading works far better than worms do, at least I think, because with worms you need tons of exploits and those get patched quite fast but people will always use emails. All 3 methods still work though, it's just email spreading by far works the best especially since most people are tech illiterate and it's also the oldest method of spreading bots and viruses.

If you infect servers you can use secret server space as your Control and Command server too. But really P2P is the best way to use bots now and have the bots ping each other to compile a list of your bots and use a digital signature to send out commands to them all so they know the commands come from the bot master and not someone who is trying to hijack your bots. There can be an authorized list of private keys of whom can use your botnet network.
