Not only will China not collapse, they're currently poised to become THE de facto intergalactic human race.
India will of course benefit greatly riding the wake of China's rise as well.
Underpopulation, labour shortage, greying population, these are problems they've solved already, they simply haven't implemented the solutions yet because they aren't needed yet (artificial wombs, automation, robot caregivers).
