>>507433193 (OP)I’ve in times past said that George Soros is unironically /our guy. I think that’s true and I moreover think he’s conscious of this.
If he’s read things like The Corpus Hermeticum and Hegel (and I know that he has), he absolutely knows that we are both on the verge of the most profound and impactful change in human affairs in all of history and, more importantly, he knows that whatever is the prevailing ethos/ideology of existing order will of necessity serve as a foil and contrasting basis for what is to come.
It seems obvious to me that the lunacy of the contemporary left was allowed — in fact encouraged — to press things so far beyond normalcy and with complete indifference to propriety in order to invite strident and forceful opposition. It’s as if it were a deliberate attempt to see just how extreme the pendulum could swing to ensure that the revolutionary ethos would be as supremely based and trad as possible.
It seems very obvious that the whole world wants to enjoy the benefits of technology, global trade, global infrastructure but they also want to preserve their distinct character, culture and traditions. They long for solid footing and some semblance of sanity. They want predictability, not incessant chaos. They want small levels of diversity, but only at modest levels in their cosmopolitan metro areas. They want sovereignty and at the same time to engage in the global community. They don’t want to worship butt sex and race mixing. They want durable morals informed by time tested God-fearing dogmas. It’s all very simple.
The whole world is about to shift hard and to the “right”. But what they want is only extreme in the minds of extremists — literal lunatics who earnestly believed the world would come together as one to rally around butt stuff and race mixing.
