>>507443892The 2015 pic, now a decade old, shows the end result of third wave feminism. Interesting, isn't it, how the "slut walks" of the 2010s never happen anymore? For zoomers too young to remember, these were "protests" done by college-aged women in which they would walk around dressed in a sexually provocative manner while holding signs exclaiming that although the way they are dressed is designed to stimulate sexual arousal in males, that does not mean that a male who is aroused by their appearance has consent to engage with them sexually, or in any other manner. This was considered to be empowering by women.
But they don't happen anymore, why? People on /pol/ will often claim that increasing diversity has meant that women aren't safe to walk around like sluts anymore, but this isn't true. Tons of women still dress like whores when they go to the clubs, they just don't have protests about it anymore. Why? As pornography use has become banal, women have become increasingly materialistic. During the era of "slut walks" - women actually still believed in feminism enough to not care if a guy paid on the date or not. Splitting the bill with a girl in 2011 on a first date was no big deal. Yet today, all women across the spectrum from liberal feminist to conservative anti-feminist will recoil with disgust if you offer to split the bill. Women realized they could monetize their sexuality, and they've done it with glee. If you told your average college liberal feminist in 2012 that she could sell pictures of her tits online for money, she'd probably call you a creep and then would say even if she could do that, she'd never debase herself and womankind by objectifying herself.
But today, they have no qualms.
TLDR: In 2015 women would walk around half naked to make a point about the concept of consent. Today, they try to charge you money for the same thing, and worse, some guys gladly pay
