They explode themselves on the daily, they clearly don't give a shit about self preservation so we're on a ticking clock of doom until Iran or another middle Eastern shithole develops nuclear technology, conceptually the west just can't let them ever progress in science until islamism is first purged. Forget global warming, this might be the closest world end scenario. Although I'm not sure they can develop that kind of thing in secret, even if they pretended for a couple of decades to be normal people and started diplomacy sight he west, I'm not sure they can ever be trusted, it could be a long play.
