Youโ€™re telling me 1 in every 12 adults I see in America is a millionaire? Iโ€™m calling total bullshit. For example a medium size company will employ 400 people. And of those only the owner and ceo are likely millionaires. Itโ€™s probably more like 1 out of 60 adults. They must have fucked up in their study somehow.

Primary residence NEVER counts towards "millionaire" status. It's 1 million liquid investment value.
Frankly, this chart is bullshit. And there's no fucking way almost 1 in 10 adult Americans are millionaires unless you count primary home value WITHOUT even considering debt liabilities (mortgage).
No. Fucking. Way.

Liquidity for black swans. I'm betting on there being another meme market crash and cheapies to scoop during Trump's second term, maybe multiple (all that NVDA was bought with a DCA of 101 less than 2 months ago). The next time bitcoin and tech stocks drop 60%+, I'll be ready to buy. The account returns 3.6% interest which isn't totally terrible anyways, especially combined with a 2.6% mortgage.

If you keep in a money market fund, you will get a better rate, it only takes 2 days to get to a bank and you dont have to worry about bank failures because of how its held (it's actually yours instead of a liability on the banks sheets). There is literally no reason to have more money in a bank than your monthly checking expenses.
