Look at this damn Iranian topographical map. Most of the country is covered in mountains.
If Trump is really stupid enough to invade Iran, the Taliban in Afghanistan will enter Iran to fight. They are the army that knows mountain warfare best in the world.
The whole war will destroy the US economy and turn Iran into a cesspool. A large number of extremist Islamic terrorists will emerge, and nothing will be resolved.
