I grew up in a jewish family and my mom was teaching me stuff at home, by the time I was 6 I was fluent in two languages (we immigrated to israel, so I had to learn hebrew on top of my mother tongue), could do addition and multiplication of up to two digit numbers in my head, could play chess on a basic level (dad's contribution).

even today 30+ years later when we meet and sit together at the dinner table every now and then, when we're done eating, we talk about scientific advancements in the world and solve logic puzzles together for fun or watch documentaries. I find it so weird when I watch american shows like friends and all those people do in their spare time is shit talk each other or be lazy and do nothing of value.

everything in my life just seemed like the normal default way to do stuff until I got exposed to the internet and saw how people in other places live their lives.

Am I missing something. This isn't particularly exceptional knowledge for a 6 year old to have. This is just common knowledge that you can literally impart in 30 seconds to any other normal child.

All this indicates is that the jewish girl has an adult in their lives teaching them about the world around them, which is fairly normal.
