Having the parade in D.C. which is vastly Democrat, anti-military, and anti-Trump was a mistake. Also, the U.S. is fucking huge so a lot of people that would have attended just couldn't make the trip. It should have been in middle America. A lot more support and easier to travel to for the people that would have attended. Also, it shows that the current military brass (whoever organized it) has no idea how to properly put on a showcase. It's not entirely their fault; I can't remember the last time, if ever, we did a full on Germany or North Korea style presentation of military force. So it's reasonably new to us. But Jesus Christ, look at the game film of other countries. Two major missteps. I would relieve all of the planners and organizers of their positions. And, if he didn't have direct oversight, Hegseth would at least get a browbeating.
