when I write code I put it on the internet for free so that other people can use it and hopefully it can improve their lives or at least solve some inconvenience they had. I even add in instructions, and follow an issues board, so that if anyone tried to use it and ran into any problems, I'll be quick to fix it for them, for free.
if an AI is able to help people use my code better and more easily, I'm happy.

digital artists are fucking babies. your art is not holy. it barely belongs to you. the photoshop algorithm you used to make that nice shading, someone else made it. the wacom tablet you're using, someone else developed it. none of their "art" would even exist if it wasn't for tons of work by other people, their final touches that made the artwork is just 1% of the work that was needed to create it.

AI is not theft. it's just a tool. artists are just entitled babies who overestimate the value of what they make.

I used to make 3D art for video game mods several years ago, had fun in the process, posted it all online for free, later on people used it in their mods in various remixes. it made me happy that my art was good enough that someone else wanted to use it. I don't get why artists are mad about someone using AI to copy their style. they should see it as a compliment.

With the incoming litigation from disney and other larger media IP holders. You're going to see a.i. generative imagery get largely locked down and new legislation written in order to strictly regulate who can and can't profit off it's use. Now that all the gooners and chuds have spent the last few years being free R&D, training all these models it's time to pull it all away, and lock it down for professional use only.
