I mean if you live in a zog-right online echo chamber, sure, but these guys aren't protesting to drive down minimum wage. They're protesting Trump's obvious overreach like sending in the national guard without the governor's knowledge and continuing against the governor's wishes. I could make an equally outraged thread about how right wingers are so big on state's rights but want to throw them all away because they like the president now (can you see the potential downsides here?)

Also, Trump took a hatchet to the effectiveness of public funding in the name of driving down the deficit, and now he's massively increasing spending. It's literally the worst of both worlds, American business, public services, and science get their funding cut, but he splurges taxpayer money on his vanity projects. I couldn't give a fuck that he's politically incorrect, I just don't like that he's utterly incompetent and wants to be a dictator.
