The problem with the iron dome is that it's vastly more expensive to arm than it is to produce offensive ballistic missiles.
Each interceptor missile costs $50,000 to take out a $5,000 Iranian missile.
Iran also has nearly unlimited cheap labour. Supplies through Pakistan, China, North Korea and Russia has workers assembling parts at $3/hour meanwhile IDF defence contractors and American supplies are billed out at thousands of times higher on labour.
