When Iraq fell, where was Iran? As Israel toppled each domino, one by one, every other domino just sat there with thumbs up their asses, watching this beast grow stronger, hungrier, bolder, eyeing you up next. It's absolutely insane how incompetent and short-sighted the entire region is. It's a bit blackpilling knowing that Iran is no different, and will end up bending over and taking it like a bitch.
No livestreams, no indie reporters giving counter optics to the larger mediasphere, it's a total radio silence from Iran. They aren't playing the game at all, let alone playing it well.

Because Israel made sure Hamas lost all capacity to range attacks before hitting Iran

Because Israel has made sure Hezbollah was destroyed and disarmed before hitting Iran

Because Israel made sure to take over Syria before hitting Iran

Because the leaders of Jordan of the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia and allies of Israel and the US and their task is population management. Their enemy is internal and islamic and their religion is realpolitik and pragmatism.

Becausr Turkey would compromise a lot if it makes any move beyond the already bold jamming of Israeli planes in Syria that lasted a few hours before being interrupted.

Because Israel has intangible assets in this war beyond military hardware, and all of them derive from US support:
- benefits from US satellite imagery over all that happens in the region (enhanced with AI)
- benefits from all resources provided by the US Total Information Awareness Program and consequently has total awareness of what happens in their vicinity

Money, the same reason your politicians serve Israel. Turkey alone would destroy Israel in 48hs, instead they are sending them Intel and selling them cheap oil while they murder Palestinian children.

I suggest you take some time to read about the 8 year Iran Iraq war, its scale and the level of death it left Iran in as well ad the kind of weapons that were used.

As soon as he was gone, Iranians started supporting rebel factions. Qassem Soleimani was the one managing operations in Iraq and this matured in the formation of the Popular Mobilisation Group PMB. You've probably heard of them in the news in the war against ISIS in Iraq and in the last 2 year since they've been throwing the little rockets they have at Israel for a time.

As for the Jordanian, Saudi, Emirati or current Syrian government, they're rooting for Israel.

The only ones that are worried aren't arab leaders (their populations are) but are Turkey and Pakistan.

Iran did the little they could do by propping up proxy allies.
Saudis, Jordan, and the UAE as well as Egypt going completely against their populations were actually actively plotting along Israel and the US

The surprise attack of Hamas, which was a surprise to Iran itself, left them confused about the proper course of action and they were forced into a slow war of attrition where the opposite party use the boiling frog strategy to deplete their assets when the strengths of the Iranian axis was in a blitz/rush that they simply weren't in a position to perform given the geopolitical realities of the moment.
