Civilians will never understand the rush of the line on peak weekend service and pure aggravation when a table of karens walks in all demanding substitutions. Then they only order water or rail drinks, (because they’re all “watching their weight”), fucking the servers (and back of house) of the tips and markup of the wine. Its a sure way to get hated. We had an absolute Chad pretty guy who’d handle those table to charm, but it was tough upsell. (Conversely, our designated hot female server could always charm/tease/bully a table of bros out of a couple hundred extra.)
