A typical American wife “orders in” for herself and partner. It as, as demonstrably proven, “single servings,” and previously deemed by relevant burger authorities.

That is a single serving for an active muscular man like a construction worker, landscaper, farmer, etc.
It is just when women and sedentary men eat it as a single serving that they have problems.
If you are a woman or have a desk job your portions are different.
Making the entire food market cater to people that sit on their butt most of the time is as foolish as those people not adjusting their habits when they notice their body proportions are getting improper.
>>507519287 (OP)The first time I smoked weed I ate one of these in one sitting. Good times

Half of that maybe. the average person shouldn't even eat 1/4 of that. You could have an 1/8th and wait 2 hours and something to snack on but that thing is larger than anyone's stomach.
>>507519287 (OP)Every US portion I've ever been served is 1.5-2x the equivalent european portion it's obscene.
It's not the seed oils or HCFS that's making you fat you just EAT TOO FUCKING MUCH.
>>507520851>that thing is larger than anyone's stomach.I'm gonna autism post for a sec:
So like 60% of that thing's volume is bread. You can pretty much discount that because it's mostly air and the actual substance of it will mostly dissolve anyway. Might as well not be there. The fillings essentially amount to a fairly large chef's salad with what looks like turkey, ham, cheese, and lettuce.
I wouldn't particularly enjoy the experience, but my skinny ass could absolutely finish that in a sitting if pressed. I think the average person could.

>>507520851>6'8" 300 pound muscular guy and that's still too much food. Its not too much food, but if anything its too little protein to be worth the volume.
We are in a era of protein-maxxing, and if you can't achieve that you just get in as many calories per dollar as you can.

>>507521645>but my skinny ass could absolutely finish that in a sitting if pressedWhat a crock fof shit. Assuming that woman is tiny and has 7" forearms and the sandwich only has a diameter of 5", both extreme low end estimates, the volume of that sandwich is about 140 cubic inches.
That's over double the average stomach size (4 cups) before ever accounting for any liquid to wash it down. The average stomach absolutely cannot hold that volume of food even assuming 50% of the volume evaporates instantly on chewing.
>>507521947>>507521956It moves the entry point for the straw away from the surface of the cup/liquid so it doesn't leak as easily.

>whole slide thread of faggots arguing over a 1pbtid doublenigger post
One time back in like 2009 I went to Albertson's, which was a supermarket chain in southern california. I went to the deli and got a sub sandwich made to order. I told the guy to give me a few different types of meat, lettuce, tomato, etc. The usual for a sub. The guy was clearly retarded. I think he may have have downs syndrome. The sandwhich he presented me with was the size of an offical NFL football. Completely overstuffed with like 2lbs of each meat I requested, a whole head of lettuce, like three tomatoes, 1/2lb of cheese, at least a cup of mayonnaise and mustard. The total for this sandwich was $5.48.
I ate that sandwich for three full days; it provided me lunch and dinner for that day and the same for the following two days.
In summary, euroshits are faggots and I sincerely hope they commit mass suicide.
>>507519287 (OP)I used to get these all the time.
The trick is to take off the top bun and scoop out most of the bread. Otherwise it's just too much bread. Then you need to add some mayo or sub dressing, to it.
Italian dressing works fine.
Then you have a cheap basic lunch for $5.99. Paired with a bag of domino's of course, and a couple quick apple pies
>>507519287 (OP)I consider that a light snack

maybe you euros are just getting scammed you ever thought of that?
>>507519287 (OP)Could go for one of those right now
>>507519287 (OP)That's a fairly small amount of sandwich for an average-sized person, I'd say? The main reason subs prepare so fast and "lasts" so short is that there isn't much density to it. I wouldn't WANT to eat a full-size helping of The B.O.S.S. in one serving, but I could easily.
>>507522328I reckon more than half the volume would "evaporate" from chewing as the bread is mostly air. You could squish it flat. There's a ton of air trapped in the folded meat and especially the lettuce.
Not to mention the pyloric sphincter is going to pass a non-trivial portion of the sandwich as you're eating it so stomach volume isn't super relevant.
I'm seeing about a liter as the average stomach size but there is a great deal of variation among humans. You could probably eat it in a sitting and feel like shit after.

>>507519287 (OP)lettuce like that ruins a sandwich. tomatoes and pickles are fine but lettuce is literally a bland rubbery leaf you'd pick from a tree or bush. disgusting.
