All that said, Rev 18:23 uses the greek word φαρμακείαor or pharmakeia. In Ancient Greek it can be a "spiritual practice and is, but not one associated with any form of Christianity. You can deny the Scripture all you like. I have proven, from Scripture my points. The first and only whore mentioned in the Bible is Israel. Babylon is not a whore nor did Babylon play the Harlot - Babylon was never in a relationship with Yahweh to begin with. The ONLY physical nation on earth that had an exclusive covenant with Yahweh was Israel. In the OT, God called Israel a whore - since we know and we know the colors in Revelation line up with the colors in the OT Temple (except blue - don't worship other gods/be a whore) the only nation to fit this description is Israel.

Further, the Scripture says of this woman - Rev 18:24 "And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth." Which matches back to what Jesus told the Jews in Matthew's Gospel:
