Pros
>le nature (it's a little different though)
>good food/produce
>good standard of living
>low crime, virtually no guns
>you can probably do well as a tradesman or businessman, or a corporate dicklicker if you have the qualifications
>OK public services, relatively speaking
Cons
>housing is very expensive and it's probably not gonna get better due to incompetence and continued heavy immigration
>the cities are fairly boring
>it's big and you will have to drive a lot unless you live in the city
>some suburbs of sydney/melbourne are cooked, with violent immigrant gangs, methheads, retarded white people also
>many immigrants, gays etc in the cities, general vibe is very corporate and pozzed
>everything is expensive, including living in the country
>a lot of desert
>most australians are absolute normies
>culturally bankrupt, many interesting/ambitious people leave the country or become recluses
>not many interesting jobs exist, we have very little tech industry or domestic production of anything except food/mining
>we're probably a testing ground for globohomo policies
>politically weak and retarded (both parties are very weak and gay)
>may degenerate in the future, who knows

Our public services are way above just OK. We have one of the best medical systems on the planet and our HDI ranking is Scandinavian level.

Maybe OK was a bit harsh, I agree with have good public services in comparison, although they still have issues.

How often do you guys deal with snakes, is it as bad as they say? Saw a video that claimed that the most venomous snake in the world is the second most common snake in Australia - the brown snake or something.

Pretty much never. Australia is one of the most urbanized countries on the planet, almost everyone lives in a city or suburbs where dangerous wildlife is not present. The worst thing you'll encounter semi-regularly is venomous spiders. You do have to be aware of jellyfish and rips while swimming in the ocean, Chinese and Indian tourists regularly drown during summer because of it. There's signs everywhere in their language but they don't read them

You wake up in Brisbane, Australia

>Brisbane used to be laid back, but now it feels like a rat race with all the aggression of sydney
>Brisbane without a car you're confined to the central business district or Fortitude Valley, neither of which are great walkable areas. You can get to Southbank too but you have to take a bus over the Victoria Bridge to QPAC which is a nightmare
>Fortitude Valley is a no go zone, the gay nightclub district of Brisbane, where all strippers whinging about guys not tipping them and homeless people everywhere always begging and trying to start fights
>Fortitude Valley station where people are just sleeping on the sidewalk, pissing and shitting, drinking, shooting up drugs
>Homeless everywhere, loudspeaks with automated voice tell cunts not to ride bikes or vape in the mall
>Strippers everywhere
>New tents cities are popping up across the Brisbane CBD
>No jobs
>lot of meth heads around George st, especially near the corner for turbot and George near the old hotel
>driving has become complete shit in brisbane, parks and sidewalks have so much litter now aswell
>Surfer's Paradise is Homeless Paradise
>mass immigration hub that the CBD has become
>Sydney and Melbourne are more expensive. All our jobs are there. Brisbane and Perth are just country towns in comparison
>St Pauls Cathedral lets homeless people sleep on their grounds from 6pm to 6am
>The top of queen street seems to be a magnet for drug effected people screaming at each other
>terrible traffic, floods most of the time , pretty boring suburbs. M1 to get away is choked on most peak hours
>Paddington, Ann Street in the CBD, Fortitude Valley, Teneriffe, Hamilton, Clayfield, Kalinga, North Lakes, and Redcliffe are completely fucked

I saw a brown snake on a melbourne golf course but in general you're right.
>>507551488
Checked, you'll see spiders but you'll probably never be bitten by a spider of any kind, i've been bitten by a spider just once and i used to go out and catch insects for fun. Didn't even hurt that much either.
