You're welcome. But yes, I agree our system is old but it costs money and federal grants are measly when it comes to infrastructure, and the rest would fall on the city or municipality. Not gonna convince the voters you want to squeeze them to rebuild fancy new subways, and then be tasked with policing said subways and doing compassionate police community outreach. Our hands are tied, society wants to pause our progress as is because it's easier

Homelessness. We need mental institutions for a good portion of the people on the streets. Petty crime is often the breeding ground for an area becoming "ghetto." That and drug use on the streets.
