>>507562054 (OP)Because the left has a weird obsession with ideological purity which forces them to viciously attack any positions that are even slightly different from their own. This is because they are dogmatically committed to either vulgar positivism (if they're a liberal) or "scientific" socialism (if they're a Marxist), which both naively assume that their conceptual understanding of the world is identical with reality. For all that the right is accused of dogma, we are genuinely more open-minded to the idea that aspects of our ideology might be wrong and need improvement through exposure to another tendency on the right. I've seen vastly different tendencies, from Nazbols to ancaps, have constructive conversation on this very site. Meanwhile, the left will tear each other apart over the very smallest issues, which is why Trotskyists who agree on 99.9% of things will schism and fight over the tiniest disagreements. While National Socialism allowed thinkers as different as Schmitt, Heidegger, and Rosenberg to all engage in a mutually-beneficial exchange of ideas, Marxism-Leninism was slaughtering many of its leading members over slightly-differing readings of Lenin. The left is a purist death cult, that's why it will fail in the end.
