Your calculation is fucked. Firstly it assumes all missiles are targeting the same target. Secondly it assumes a single missile destroys the target. Thirdly it assumes infinite missiles.
If Iran has 100 missiles and it takes 10 missiles at a single target for 1 to hit then they have the capacity to hit 10 targets whereas without the missile defense they could hit 100 targets.

I think another important part in all of this, most gulf states are, under US leadership, working on normalizing relationships with israel. Iran is the odd one out, besides yemen. Assad recently fell, hezbollah got crippled, hamas not doing so hot either. Iran is somewhat backed into a corner now, isolated from its usual allies against israel/US. I dont know how close they actually got to the bomb, maybe israel is just making shit up to take out a rival (their last big one really).
