It fucking sucks in the middle east. Unemployment is massive, the inequality gap is enormous, and the economy is heavily dependent on exporting oil. They have every right to be pissed off, but you are pissed off at the wrong people. The ME is in the middle of the Eurasian-African landmass. It survived by defending itself from incursion from every direction. That is the geographic cards it was given so it makes sense that it has an ingrained system to enrage the youth towards an enemy. That has been perverted into killing off entire generations by sending them to die in conflicts that are beneficial to the people in power. The Middle East couldn't survive the lack of an enemy because the people would start asking questions of their leadership.
