I wonder if a bunch of Dem switch to the Republicans over this. The two Dems he killed frequently worked with Republicans across the aisle so they are not the target a genuine "far right," attacker would go for. Those are the kind of people you would happily cut deals with. And the murdered woman was also the Dem speaker of the house of Minnesota, had just blocked a huge Dem spending bill, cried about it on live TV and was murdered the next day. No wonder this story is slipping out of the news fast. I hope the assassin is able to give a testimony. We'll see if he pretends to be far right but just happened to do the Dems a huge favor by attacking two disobedient congress people who liked working with Republicans, while he himself claiming to support every stereotypical cause of the far right.
