Can someone explain why is Iran having a hard time shooting down Israeli jets? When Pakistan destroyed a squad of Indian modern day jet fighters. Even forcing India to ground their jets. One can even argue that it was harder for Pakistan since India is besides them when Israel has to travel over a 1000 km to reach Iran.

"Air superiority" means glide bombs you idiots. Aircraft are not hovering over targets in Iranian airspace, but, bombs are able to be shot from outside the airspace and not intercepted anymore.

A variety of reasons from out of date S-300's to Israeli Spec OPs literally building drone factories in Iran to mitigate launches of Anti-Air and Radar, to wide spread belief that while negotiations were ongoing there would be no attack on Iran, of course Israel will win the "war" but in reality this will make ANY allience with Israel even AFTER a regime change (Which I believe is now inevitable since Israel is very cleverly admittedly targeting only the IRGC command and not the regular Army to divide and conquer) All Iranians would have to do is look back 1-2 years and realize how badly Israel deceived and manipulated them and it would be foolhardy to trust them again without severe reservation.
