Entry level jobs are gone, new grads are cooked. What will happen when an entire workforce generation gets replaced by jeets and AI?

Plenty of white collar companies have grad programs, mine came with a guaranteed job at the end. That won't be of any use to a redditor that studied art history.

Ages back I did an electrotechnology preapprenticeship course (I think it was a year long, just to give myself all the grounding possible), and couldn't find an in as an adult applicant. That's one where you really do seem to need to have an existing relationship with an employer (e.g. be related to them), especially if you don't have the value proposition of them being able to pay you young person wages.

Normies fall for the college scam yet still defend it vehemently online for some reason despite 6 figures of debt and no viable career path. Curious!

Can AI design a charming and inviting abattoir? Like, for example, a Star Wars adventure ride where people line up and are dropped into a trash compactor? That would get a lot done.

Yah sure. You'll somehow out compete Mbubpulu from Cameroon who accepts £5 and hour AND you'll out compete the big firms who are already established and have all the big contracts.

Jeets can't handle any job with tools so they're still pretty safe.
You'd think they'd be attracted to plumbing already smelling like shit and all but jeets never could into pipes.

Speaking from experience, most people in HR, finance, plan ops are doing repetitive shit like report reconciliations and workflows. Once they are automated, a lot of people will lose their jobs.

I just got an offer, and the HR lady apologized that the salary is entry level considering I have 10 years experience. The salary is about 20% more than I'm making now. I've never "not been screwed" since I graduated.

AI isn't replacing any jobs.
If it were, Computer Engineering would have an absurdly lower unemployment rate. When in actuality it's worse than CS.
Computer Engineering are the ones who make your processor and GPUs btw. They make the hardware that AI needs.

What's actually happening?
High interest rates. Nobody is hiring because there is no money to hire people. Money printer stopped.

One could argue that Big Tech was overhiring before interest rates went up, sure. But what about the rest of STEM?
Those jobs went to China. The rest of the domestic jobs were replaced and given to Pajeet. Now we can't make our own chips.

Something about America not having those skills.
Incorrect, there are plenty of skilled workers, but companies don't want to pay higher salaries for skilled Americans.

Ultimately, you end up with with a society where you make more money trooning out and selling OnlyFans buttpics than you do with actual STEM skills.

Trump needs to put the tariffs up right away and deport the H1B Jeets.
