Maybe, we as a nation, should figure out what is happening to our veterans before inflicting another generation with this burden.

The elite call soldiers dogs, because that is what they consider them.

Amerimutts are the inventer of muuh PTSD too because a little bit police action completely traumatise them.
Amerimutts are very weak golem and they never won a war on their own.

German statistics of west German Bundeswehr puts around on average 50 suicides a year since the 50s with average 500k full-time soldiers.
After WWII we had many German suicides because they all would be killed for supposed war 'crimes' especially higher ups anyway. And sure usa was in much more wars since WWII compared to Germany with much more veterans but the per capita suicide rate here is 10 times lower than here in Germany.

Engaging in a war that you can't morally justify to yourself is what causes PTSD. For example, the vietcong and taliban never got PTSD because they fully believed in their cause. If the US only fought wars that actually defended the american people then they wouldn't have this veteran suicide problem.

Its very difficult to come home from the U.S. military. Not necessarily from PTSD in and of itself, but because you now have to fit in with people who you just dont have anything in common with. The military is like heaven. You have a purpose, the best friends on earth, all your needs are met, tons and tons of support.. then you go into the 'real world' and every one sucks. Nothing you do really matters, your friends are either still in the military or live no where near you, the health care sucks, and no one can understand your experience. You also still generally feel like you have to continue to put on a mask in order to not disgrace your brothers in arms past, present, and future.. so its hard to really open up and joke around with people like you did with your military friends.

Eh, you could say that. I think its more that you get some form of PTSD and are used to a very regimented lifestyle, and you then experience actual freedom and no longer have your best friends around to make the PTSD not a big deal
