I don't know because he's not been seen publicly since then, but I'd imagine he probably isn't too happy with the destruction of his country and in particular the ongoing genocide of Alawites by a ZOG controlled terrorist pawn. Who would be happy to be in his shoes? Would you be? But at least he's alive and didn't get the Gaddafi treatment, so it could have been worse I guess.

So I wonder, has he realized how stupid he was there. Not like regret over laughing at Gaddafi will do much for him anyways, he is never coming back to power.

Maybe he actually heeded Gaddaffi's warning, and that's why he high-tailed it out of there instead of trying to lay low and lead an insurgency like Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein did.
Gaddafi and Saddam both got captured and killed, while Assad is still alive. I guess there is some wisdom in just packing up and running away. Also, who even knows if his loss is even permanent? The situation in Syria is still a mess. There's no guarantee the new guy is going to last in power indefinitely himself.
