Americans were subjects of the crown (Spaniards) and therefore could not be enslaved. The abolition of slavery in the Hispanic Empire was established in 1482 AD (a decade prior the Inventio of America) and was sustained in 1492/1493 AD when Colon brought American slaves to Europe. Not only were ALL the slaves freed, but Colon was incarcerated. Furthermore, in case there was any doubt, Queen Isabel (who founded America as the HOMELAND exclusive for the Hispanic people) sent out an administrative-juridic promulgation prohibiting slavery.

I don't care that the Spaniards committed genocide against the American natives, as the natives themselves were guilty of it, but to say they were not only better than the British, but that their actions weren't a genocide at all and even supposedly benefited the natives is pure falsehood. Yes, impregnating a tribe's women counts as genocide, and a much more humiliating one than just expelling/killing everybody.

Anyway the colony got conquered by the dutch and then the english, and Sweden didn't have the population to keep colonies overseas anyway (there was enough wilderness in Sweden to do "internal colonization" instead) Also a finnish boy from that colony got captured/lost and the natives raised him. Apparently he became some sort of chieftain and there were multiple reports of a "pale indian"
