Subway used to be reasonable value compared with burger king and macdonalds or you local equivalent. The 12 in sub with all the meats and all the salads (including jalapenos, Swiss cheese and chipotle was my go to). Now it’s dirty pajeets (even the females) fingering that slice in the 12 inch bun like it’s a vagina, they argue about when the salt and pepper is meant to be applied. And other minutiae like why the actual fuck pineapple is even an option.

The whole premise of subway was a slightly more healthy alternative to pedestrian burger joints (slightly) all the while being based on the same franchise model. They had it for about 4 years completely nailed, then either the franchisees or the corporate cracked the shits with net v turnover and the quality dropped significantly. Then the ‘value for money’ dropped

You dont even need restreraunt ovens to franchise a subway, the bread over is a wheeled rack. They don't even use a meat slicer like Jersey Mike's.

I wait for them to do either b1g1 or $7 subs, then get the beast sandwich - half a pound of assorted meats, plus bread cheese veggies and toppings. plus double meat for $3 more.

for $10 I get roughly 1500 to 2000 calories of subway sandwich, and I looked it up and its far cheaper than buying it ala carte at the supermarket and making one myself

meats about $5 on average at the store, a loaf of bread equivalent to subway is probably $1 to $2, and the condiments and veggies are several bucks

The entire economic model of exploitation is shit and dies as society gets more intelligent.

Subways success was that they had a business model where any random person could open a subway store, without being employed by the actual company. They would simply lease you the name and recipies with a certain set of conditions.
In the other companies like kfc, dominos, mc donalds etc, it's the company that decides where stores should open and who is going to run them.

I haven't seen a white person working at a Subway since 2011
