At a basic level, disregarding all outside information, suppose an individual cares about their own personal liberty and freedom, and mutually respects those who do not overstep their bounds. Imagine this individual to be a man.
>I trust the government has my best interest at heart, and that they are representatives of my approximate beliefs in law.
But the individual sees how politicians will say one thing, then do another, even within their mainstream media. By logic, this makes them liars. If, then, they are liars, how are liars accurately representing anyone's beliefs? How can they be trusted? The individual becomes skeptical. From here, one of two things will happen:
A - They will be complacent with this, choosing to distrust the government but ultimately submit to its will - the easy way out. They do not pursue information, remaining in a comfortable, oblivious nature.
B - They will wonder
>what is it that the government should feel the need to lie about? Why do politicians lie?
This thought consumes the individual to the point they must search for a reason, some logical answer to their actions. Surely this governing body does not look after its own interests first, but instead the peoples'? A few google searches later and they are now beginning to dislike the government, if not outright hate it. Their news media even reports on their outright deception and two-faced actions.
>why is the government so selfish? why are they liars? why are they so corrupt?
At this time, the individual (in this case) will be disillusioned with the government. In the mainstream news, along with their daily life, the individual sees the effects of the government's will happening in real-time. One such effect is mass immigration.
>why are there so many people lining up for jobs? I would like a job, I want to be able to buy the things I want, or even just to get by.

Continuing on, the individual looks around, and notices these newcomers aren't like him. They are different in more ways than one; possibly even polar opposites. Because of this, the individual may grow a small dislike towards them, whether because of what they are, or because they encroach on his self-believed liberties (protected by law, of course)!
>why can't I find a job? These immigrants are crowding at every job centre, why are there so many of them?
The individual ponders this question. If immigrants are not from here, then surely they are being allowed into the country by the (already distrusted) government, or else they would be illegals, and deported.
>If there are this many being brought in, what is the need for them all?
The individual recalls that the government is entirely untrustworthy and does not have his best interests at heart.
>If not for his interests, or those like him, then for whom? The government itself? To what end?
The individual notices that many of these people are poor, even while having a job that would have once been enough to get by. If the government is bringing in poor people, and they take the jobs that the individual would have worked, what is left for him? By what means shall the individual grow and earn his place amongst society? How shall he have things he can call his own, or do as he pleases in his liberty?
>The individual grows to hate these newcomers, along with the government that feeds them to his country, for encroaching on his right to "life" - the pursuit of happiness.

Within this argument alone, I believe, logic would dictate that those who enjoy and prefer their own liberty (a basic preference in human nature) can and would, with time, grow to hate those who work against him. Beyond this, anyone could easily say many thing that the individual in this case would do. While I could go on, I do not believe it necessary. Ultimately, I raise this question to you, reader:
>Is it illogical to hate? To hate those that actively work against you? Who set a stumbling block before your path, to ensnare and trap you at each turn? Or, is it logical to hate your enemies, those you deem encroaching on your ideas of freedom, liberty and self-perceived rights?

The impatient mind fails to grasp a full understanding. You should really try to improve your attention span.
