Actually good question. I think only if we establish dominance in the existing system and then impose a new system. This would require extraordinary people, people who have no ego, who are sacrificing their life for new humanity. They will serve as the example for the others as public will look to model themselves after them. After they do that the hierarchical system will slowly be dissolved.

Any tangible, physical goal. If you want roads connecting your whole country then you want companies competing to prove who can do it better. If you want internet/electricity you want companies proving who can construct the wires and poles or dig the tunnels better than the others. If you want train rails you want companies competing to prove who can do it better. If you only have one group doing these things, like some group appointed by the government to be in charge of it, they will fuck of and be lazy because they can without getting fired. People want to slack off, the reality that someone else could take their livelihood makes them perform as the best version of themselves.

This of course only works on a national level following the same laws and currency system, outsourcing ruins this practice by making free men compete with slave labor.
