They do not see it as a reason to protest and make demands on the government. The impoverishment of Russia will not force Putin to end the war, nor will it force Russians to stop fighting. Putin must be deprived of the money to wage the war, and Russia must be prevented from importing Western technology (or at least it must become too expensive for Russia to do so). Serious, tough sanctions and decisive actions are needed. It is extremely important to support Ukraine, which is fighting against a much stronger enemy and paying for every day of Russia's weakening with our own blood.
