That might be true for a lot private/public tech companies, but the financial services firms are still male dominated, very much focused on deliverable work product, and not bogged down by HR. IB, public accounting, consulting, VC/PE are still intense careers with a clear path to making $250k+ easy. I dont know if this is the product of the "go into trades" meme thats gone around for a decade or whatever, but business is still a great career option for someone willing to work hard for a few years.
