Even if that were true, there's no reason for the United States to join in on this one. Iran didn't even attack Israel first, it was the other way around and the justification of "preemptively ensuring they don't develop nukes" admits to the fact they don't even have WMDs right now. It's an even flimsier casus belli than Iraq, where at least we pretended they did.
