>>507780283>the lone gunmen accurately predicted 9/11I remember watching this episode
Awkwardly predictive in its details
>Thereโs even an xfiles episode where the men in black confirm everythingI don't see what episode you're refering to, but from memories, there was kind of a lot of episodes endings that were subtle hints at what happened in the ep that was "inspired" by real facts
Although obviously "romanticized/exagerated" but nonetheless non smokeless gun display if I can say it like that
It was a great show in this time and age
Not sure that would have as much impact today as it had back in those days
Too much shill around would kill it, or at least spam try to
Plus the inherent general chitchating between people about shady gov shenanigan, what they were hiding, the myth about MK-Ultra/ LSD experiments in lost States psychwards / vets being so fucked in their trying to explain what happened and a whole other sort of *bullshits" that fell prey to internet generation / whistleblowers who grew into such times having enough and having their brain almost melting upon discovering such things, the only vent they had was to make it publicly known for every one to grasp in awe at the revelations
Plus, there was a special kink when speaking on phone with a friend or family member where when you were speaking about touchy subjects, or using certain "code words", you would also say "hello cia I don't intend nothing, rest assured lol" or similar "Good evening nsa from x" etc, just to place a disclaimer in case the "phonelines recording data centers" were true and even if logged, when listen/studied to assess threat level, they would know more about you and so being polite was common... Some just were going full blown obnoxious too though
The feeling of this period was something else than nowadays, but somehow, it evolved only to be just more fucked up
ie:"recent happenings" from at least 2 decades
Cheers ;)
