It's curable with a few light antibiotics if you start treatment immediately after being bitten by a tick. If it goes undiagnosed for a few years, the disease will get into your brain and bone marrow and be very difficult to cure.

It is treatable when it's detected early before it "gets into the joints". Good luck on finding a doctor that will actually pinpoint what variety of lyme it is and give you the right meds instead you telling you that you have the flu and asking you to leave.
