Are you aware that the lone star tick can cause an allergy to develop for nearly all animal products and meat? It's true! It's called alpha-gal syndrome. Ticks really are the worst.

>>507786790 (OP) It's curable with a few light antibiotics if you start treatment immediately after being bitten by a tick. If it goes undiagnosed for a few years, the disease will get into your brain and bone marrow and be very difficult to cure.
>>507786790 (OP) I got lyme back in 08, and i was shocked you could cure it with pills. Growing up i remember a girl having it and she had a tube coming out of her chest for some reason. Weird.
>>507786790 (OP) The real question is why are ticks so much more common than they used to be? I have to spray myself head to toe if I'm out in my yard for more than 10 minutes and even then I still find one crawling on me pretty often. You used to have to crawl through bushes before you had to worry about that. I swear there never used to be this many
but in all seriousness we really should kill off mosquitos, tics, flies, spiders, and bears

I know that sounds based but he was a literal fat homosexual musical theater faggot. I donโt even think Lyme disease is real.
