About 20% will become porn addicted conspiracy theory degenerates, draining resources while producing nothing of human value.
Another 20% will just look for ways to fuck other people over. Never content they will want to make troubles as individuals, committing crime, or if charismatic and powerful they will seek to control others through cults and political organizations
The remaining 40% will go on reddit and make up new shit to be worried and outraged about. They will spend their lives in a frenzy up voting each other and down voting any dissenting opinion. They will believe their echo chamber is reality. They will become the super Karens, finding problems where none exist.
In total about 80% of the population will not get any positive benefit from AI and UBI. Worse, they will begin to slowly undermine it.
In fact that is why the age of AI and UBI will be short lived. These fuckwits will bring the whole system down one way or the other. Soon enough we would be living in the 18th century again, or even worse.
Now if we really wanted to reap the benefits then we would have to be pragmatic and anticipate this. We would first need a trial period where the recipients of UBI would be secretly monitored. Any of the 80% would be first sterilized and then exiled to some remote island where they can live out their lives being cunts to each other, a life of mediocrity without disrupting the 20%. In this way we would slowly but surely remove the 80% of the useless ingrates from the population. Only then it would UBI and AI be sustainable
