Western part of the state is very mountainous and has some of the best skiing in the country. Eastern half of has this really beautiful hilly grasslands climate. It is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It is a nice state. I enjoy going there.

It’s relentlessly windy and cold there. Like 30mph with 60-80mph gusts on an average day. I lived in Colorado most of my life and have been to Wyoming hundreds of times. It’s beyond unpleasant. It’s so windy that the highways get shut down multiple times a month during the winter on account of how fast the roads ice over.

Yellowstone and Grand Teton as a pair is the best national park experience in the country I've been to all of them now, Wyoming is lovely but there are parts of Alaska I would rather spend the winter.

It's a terrible place. You can't even begin to imagine how windy it is, and the winters are extremely harsh. It's the last place in the USA where you legitimately have a good chance of dying if you poorly plan your gas stops. You would hate it. Don't ever come here.

The state has been in years long droughts constantly since at least the 90s. There has been a great deal of engineering effort to bring water to the agricultural areas, but they can only do so much.

There's a few towns I like in the summer and others in the winter, a handful of beautiful drives and bountiful rivers to fish.

The winters will literally try and kill you. Insane wind, double digit negative degree temps, frozen pipes, insanely icy roads. It’s not for the faint of heart which is why a ton of people who move here for cheap housing or because they watched a season of Yellowstone move out in a year or two.
