Their real estate sector collapsed so they doubled-down on producing cars to keep the economy running... which is now also collapsing. They just slashed prices on their already impossibly low priced cars by like 30% because sales aren't there to meet the demands of the CCP when it comes to car production.

The more top-down management in an industry, the worse it gets and there's nobody more top-down than the CCP.

I distinctly remember my dad telling me how the Chinese economy was unsustainable after he picked me up from school in 2002 or 2003, when I was doing economics in my last 2 years at school. He got rather animated on the topic because he had mild aspergers and nearly crashed into another car, which is why I remember it so strongly. It had to be either 2002 or 2003 too because I remember I was wearing my school uniform, and I only done economics in my last 2 years at school. My economics teacher had been recommending everyone learn Chinese.

China's on the road to collapsing, and I'm not cheering it on. The rest of the world is going to suffer when it happens.

Nah, the USA may have a lot of debt but we also have a lot of income. Debt is 124% of the GDP last year, China is over 300% and that's really bad when the debt is all household debt tied up in real estate and your real estate markets are crashing.
