I'm not a Catholic and I don't believe in Catholicism but Franco genuinely did a lot of good. Franco is an actual model of a right-wing success story. That's why Franco is never talked about and why the world is exposed constant talk about Hitler this, Hitler that. Keep everyone focused on Hitler so when they want to rebel, they pick up a losing formula and accomplish nothing.

Franco had a pathetic run, he didn't support his Fascist allies during WW2. Sure his power lasted more decades than the others, but what is the result? Spain is the most feminist leftist country in Southern Europe. Germany kept its honor high to the very end (unlike half of Italy), it lived and died with Hitler. The country had to be split in half to prevent the germans from fighting tooth and nail, and even then the Werwolf partisans kept attacking soviet and allied forces until 1948.

Hitler marched his people off a cliff. Franco made the right choice and Mussolini made a tragic mistake. As for Spain today- the CIA murdered Franco's successor. Franco did go wrong in inadequately preparing Spain to hold
