For perspective: when Obama gave Israel a record-setting 38 billion dollar aid package in 2016(paid out over ten years), of that yearly 3.8 billion we give them, 500 million is for missile defense.

Meaning if that 285 million dollar figure is true, Israel would have run through their yearly missile defense budget in 42 hours. That's a problem, because they already blew the vast majority of everything we've given them on Gaza. They're gonna need more, and if they don't get it...

if the $285 million number is true, it means that I'm basically sending $71 (usd) to the israeli government every day, and $11 of those $71 goes into funding the war in Iran, which means there's still $60 left for other shit like local economics, road construction, etc. and I'm just an average ass middle class citizen, there's higher taxation for rich people, and there isn't exactly a shortage of rich jews here.
