At what point did Twitter screenshots take over /pol/?

4-5 yrs ago. before that it was less prevalent, but the gay faggot queer jannies at least kept it on-topic and it was politicians and shit. now it's every random twit from every literally who under the sun.
this site has literally zero purpose any more. you might as well just use twitter.

When twitter overtook /pol/ on breaking happenings, influence, and actual insightful takes on current political climate. By the time /pol/ covers a breaking event it's already ancient history on X. /pol/ is where news goes to die.

Since the introduction of Captcha and cloudflare. Twitter screencap threads are a good thing now faggot. Get with the time. Everybody should post Twitter screencaps so I don’t have to actually use that slow and clunky app. They only give me like 3-4 interesting posts on my feed and then next other things are bullshit advert recommendations. news of current events is found on twitter
