Only ever one person on the clock, we were told to "take breaks whenever you can" but wouldn't even allow us a fucking chair behind the register, so I had to sit on this uncomfortable step ladder thing.
Barely got any time to eat for that exact reason; customers always coming in, interrupting my meal time. 30 minute lunch would turn into an hour of eating one bite of my room-temperature meal. Don't even get me started on bathroom breaks. You ever shit and wipe in under 30 seconds because you hear the door bell go off? Fuck that job.
Quitting was the best decision I ever made, even if it meant I had to go back to the /neet/ life.
